Magic, Wanna See Me Pull a Rabbit out of my Hat?
ok, so only 1 person took advantage of this week’s “magic entries” before the deadline. maybe this wasn’t one of my brightest ideas, or maybe i just don’t have enough traffic yet to give out 5 magic entries in 24hrs.
either way, my hope was to find some kind of incentive to give to people who were among the first each week to submit their entries. these people get in early, their odds are likely to change most dramatically over the course of the week, and so they should be rewarded for “sticking it out”.
at the same time, i was hoping to get rid of that big, fat zero on the front page as quickly as possible. so in that respect, i guess i was successful. as promised, i’ve taken that single entries and turned it into 2 entries. like magic.
i’m thinking of trying the whole magic entries thing again next week. so keep an eye out just after the weekly draw coming up this Wednesday.
