ok. so i’ll admit. so far, i haven’t quite received the response that i was hoping for.

And to top things off, i just read on Techcrunch, that Media Temple is crushing web hosting. Just my luck i guess. But, at $20/month, you’d still be making a considerable investment in hosting. If you’re just starting out, short on cash, have a hobbie website, or want an online profile (no ads) - WHW might still be right for you.

Just 9 entries have been submitted into this week’s draw for 1-Year of Web Hosting, which is only about 0.02% of the total unique visitors that have passed through these doors to date.

To me, this can mean several things:

• I haven’t built up enough trust (ie: “street cred”) with my visitors yet, so they are reluctant to enter into the draw.
• I simply haven’t had enough traffic to the site yet
• I am somehow directing this offer to the wrong crowd

I will be exploring these 3 issues in more detail as the week goes on and we enter into Week 2.

For now, let me just say that i understand if you don’t want to be one of the first to try and thus possibly the first to get burned.

But let me say this:

Without these early adopters, the internet as we know it, would probably not exist. You are valued members of this vast online community and we salute you! [insert ringtone drumroll please]

Anyway, i wanted to somehow reward those early adopters.
