And to top things off, i just read on Techcrunch, that Media Temple is crushing web hosting. Just my luck i guess. But, at $20/month, you’d still be making a considerable investment in hosting. If you’re just starting out, short on cash, have a hobbie website, or want an online profile (no ads) – WHW might still be right for you.

Just 9 entries have been submitted into this week’s draw for 1-Year of Web Hosting, which is only about 0.02% of the total unique visitors that have passed through these doors to date.

To me, this can mean several things:

• I haven’t built up enough trust (ie: “street cred”) with my visitors yet, so they are reluctant to enter into the draw.
• I simply haven’t had enough traffic to the site yet
• I am somehow directing this offer to the wrong crowd

I will be exploring these 3 issues in more detail as the week goes on and we enter into Week 2.

For now, let me just say that i understand if you don’t want to be one of the first to try and thus possibly the first to get burned.

Without these early adopters, the internet as we know it, would probably not exist. You are valued members of this vast online community and we salute you! [insert ringtone drumroll please]
